Children confidently take responsibility for their own personal care. They have high levels of independence, for instance, they very competently dress and undress themselves and make independent choices for their play.

Our children (4) have all attended Sparkies, the thought full staff and kindness and most of all the continuity of the same teachers really makes a real difference.

Children are highly motivated in their play and make good progress in their learning. They have ample some to explore and many show sustained engagement with the activities they choose

My child always comes home and tells me about his adventures for example: he was certain he was going to the moon to have a tea party, I had to confirm with the teachers. And my reply was ‘ Yes on Monday we need these resources to make it happen, tin foil, tubes, and bottles’ and make believe.

The quality of teaching is of good quality. Staff make good use of assessment to help them plan activities that challenge children in their learning and help them make good progress

They cook each week, if we are lucky we get to try some of their bakes, my son loves to cook at home too.

Children form close and secure attachments to their key persons and thrive in the caring environment. This has an excellent impact on children’s well-being

The key-person system is highly effective and this helps children build firm emotional attachments to staff. Staff are excellent role models, helping children to learn about respect and being kind to their friends. Children behave excellently, play exceptionally well together and look after each other. Staff routinely praise children’s efforts, which contributes towards children developing high self-esteem and confidence. Staff provide children with regular experiences to develop physical skills inside and outside in their large enclosed garden.

Children make good progress and develop key skills for school. For example: they learn to recognise letters and sounds to encourage their early reading and writing skills.
